Good morning, Vampires!  We continue to share ideas, strategies, and articles to ignite your curiosity and deepen discussions around the use of technology in the classroom. This week, we focus on the Guiding Statement Learn and Grow Together with an exciting project-based learning idea from Adobe.
Video has become an essential way for people to learn and express themselves. Learners of all ages can practice creative thinking and essential video editing skills while developing an explainer video.

With Adobe’s new project-based learning opportunity, students can join a worldwide contest by submitting an explainer video they produced ON ANY TOPIC for a chance to win a mobile video production kit, but most importantly, to learn essential digital literacy skills along the way!

They’ll get help with tips, guidance, and structured activities from experts at Khan Academy and Adobe. See the video below and this website for more details, and do let us know if this is something you’d be interested in implementing. We would love to assist you and your students in any way possible!
The Art of Explainer Videos is Adobe’s new project in partnership with Khan Academy for students in Middle and High School.
In this post from ditchthattextbook.com, you’ll find 100 distance learning activities, templates and tutorials. They’ll help you create activities that lend themselves to powerful learning when students are away from school.
