Writing Sample Also handwritten, this is useful as a pre-assessment and as a quick formative. If later assignments in the same unit turn out to be strikingly different from your writing samples, how can we explain this? Either you are indeed the world’s greatest teacher or maybe…🤖
Version History (Google Docs) If you suspect something is up (🤖), have a look at the Version History (command+option+shift+h). Most kids are not patient enough to not copy from ChatGpt and paste the entire block of text into their work. So, large chunks of solid-colored text in Google Version History is an indicator of unauthentic work.
 The Perfect Submission Look too good to be true? Look at some previous work, pre-Chatgpt, there will be some grammatical errors, if not some linguistic quirks. If a kid is turning in grammatically perfect work for a quick brainstorming, timed-writing assignment… 🤖.
